Conquering the K-Way Maxi Race Cape Winelands with ASS MAGIC

This past weekend, the K-Way Maxi Race Cape Winelands tested even the toughest of athletes as they tackled some of the most scenic – yet brutal – trails South Africa has to offer. Nestled in the heart of the Winelands, the race offered breathtaking views, diverse terrain, and endless climbs, but none of that stopped our ASS MAGIC warriors from rising to the occasion!

The Event:
The K-Way Maxi Race is known for being a punishing test of endurance, with distances ranging from 20km to a grueling 75km. This year was no different, with runners ascending steep mountain paths, river crossings, and battling the wettest Cape weather. Whether dealing with heat, wind, or cool breezes, the course provided a relentless challenge that pushed each participant to their limits, with new speed records set on most routes.

But it wasn’t just the scenery that caught attention—it was also the teamwork, grit, and… dare we say… a bit of ASS MAGIC that kept our runners going strong.
